Interment will be in Elm Grove cemetery. Mr. Mace was born in Muskingum county, Ohio, on January 3, 1829, and was a son of Simeon and Nancy Lamar Mace. Interment will be in Elm Grove cemetery. Mr. Mace was born in Muskingum county, Ohio, on January 3, 1829, and was a son of Simeon and Nancy Lamar Mace. When 21 years of age he came with his parents to Illinois and lived in Henderson and Hancock counties. He was married to Margaret Wolford, February 18, 1853, and they lived in Illinois until 1869, when they came to ???county, locating on a farm south of Riverside. The home has been in this county ever since. Mrs. Mace died April 10, 1869. After the death of his wife Mr. Mace came to Washington and made his home with his son, Arthur Mace for three and a half years. He has been living with his other children since that time, going to Mrs. Meeks home a year ago this last spring. Mr. Mace had been in ill health and his strength gradually failed until two weeks ago when he became bedfast. He is survived by the following children...
