Nelson McKenzie, former member of the house of representatives from Williamsburg county, were held from the home in the Sandy Bay section of the county on Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, burial following near Olanta in Florence County. Mr. McKenzie was a native of Florence county, and was the son of Mrs. Ambrie McKenzie and the late Mr. McKenzie of Sandy Bay. He was a member of the Hebron Methodist church, where he had served as a steward. He is survived by his widow, formerly Miss Lazinka Wilson of Clarendon county, one daughter and two sons as follows: Miss Corrie Mae McKenzie, J. N. McKenzie, Jr., and Ulrich McKenzie, all of Sandy Bay; three brothers and two sisters as follows: Delos D. McKenzie, Williamsburg county supervisor, Kingstree; Harmon McKenzie and the Rev. J. M. McKenzie, Mrs. J. F. Floyd, all of Sandy Bay and Mrs. Clive Watford (Bertie Mae McKenzie Watford, wife of Mack Cleveland Watford) of the Warsaw community. Mr. McKenzie was overseer for the large farming intersts of D. W.
