Young, who lived 2 miles west of here, died suddenly at his home Sunday morning of heart trouble after no apparent sickness. YOUNG (Special to the Journal-Gazette) ROANOKE, Ind., Dec. 7 - James P. Young, who lived 2 miles west of here, died suddenly at his home Sunday morning of heart trouble after no apparent sickness. When the family arose, Mr. Young got up and built a fire, and was holding the baby, which is sick, when he experienced a severe pain in his chest near the region of his heart, and laid down. The family applied hot cloths and summoned medical aid at once, but before assistance could be had he had expired. A few years ago the deceased had the misfortune to lose his right leg by having it caught in the shaft of an old-fashioned horse-power threshing machine. The deceased was a few years ago engaged in the retail dry goods and grocery business at this place. Mr. Young was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Young, of Huntington, who survive him. Besides his parents and a brother, Smith Young, the deceased leaves a wife and 9 children, 7 sons and 2 daughters, who, with many distant relatives and friends, remain to mourn their loss. The funeral will be held from th U.B. church Tuesday afternoon at 2:00, the Rev. Goshert, the pastor, officiating, after which interment will be made in Glenwood cemetery.
