Description	:	James R. McCue, 73, Palace hotel, died Monday at a hospital after a three-day illness. Mr. McCue was born March 8, 1879, at California Junction, Ia. He married Julia Babbitt in 1906. She died in 1920. He came to Sioux City when a young man and had resided here since. Formerly he was employed at the Cudahy Packing Co. plant. Y., Mrs. Joseph O’Hara, Mrs. Jack Faust, Mrs. Margaret Graves and Mrs. Earl Kerr, all of Sioux City, and 12 grandchildren. The body was taken to the Larkin funeral home. The Sioux City Journal, May 27, 1952 ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Funeral services for James R. McCue, 73, Palace hotel, who died Monday, will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic church. Rev. Edward C. Lilly will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8:30 o’clock tonight at the Larkin funeral home, where the body will remain until the time for services.
