Description	:	LONACONING,MARYLAND -- Jan. 15, —The funeral of Mr. Jas. T. Brady took place at 10:30 this morning. The cortege proceeded from the Brady House, his late residence, to St. Mary's -church, where a requiem high mass was sung by Rev. Thos. J. Stanton. After mass Father Stanton delivered a funeral discourse, which took the form of exhortation to the living, rather than eulogy of tbe dead. Father Stanton paid a compliment to Mr. Brady's family on account of their faithful attendance to the deceased in his last illness. The pallbearers were prominent men of Lonaconing. Brady, the well known and popular proprietor of the Brady House, died at his residence Lonaconing, Saturday afternoon, after a long and painful illness. The cause of his death was pneumonia complicated by Bright's disease. Mr. Brady was well and favorably known to almost everyone in the county and was well patronized by the traveling public. He went to Lonaconing from Pennsylvania about the year 1865 where he resided up to the time of his death. A useful citizen, kind and generous hearted, a good husband and loving parent, he has gone to reap his reward in the great beyond. He was about 65 years old and leaves a wife and seven children to mourn their loss. The names of the children are: Misses Nellie, Mary and Kate Brady; Messrs. Edward, John and Joseph Brady and Mrs. John Byrnes of Midland. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock and the interment will be in Oak Hill cemetery, at Lonaconing."
