Description	:	James Thomas Quick, 69, died Wednesday at 12:26 p.m. (Jan. 30, 1963) at his home in Beech Grove after a long illness. He was a life-long member of the Beech Grove Christian Church where he served as a deacon for a number of years. Born July 1, 1893, in Beech Grove, he was a son of Mrs. Missouri Thompson Quick, of Afton; and the late Charles Lockridge Quick. His first wife, Mrs. Gracie McGann Quick, died March 18, 1953. Read More	James Thomas Quick, 69, died Wednesday at 12:26 p.m. (Jan. 30, 1963) at his home in Beech Grove after a long illness. He was a life-long member of the Beech Grove Christian Church where he served as a deacon for a number of years. Born July 1, 1893, in Beech Grove, he was a son of Mrs. Missouri Thompson Quick, of Afton; and the late Charles Lockridge Quick. His first wife, Mrs. Gracie McGann Quick, died March 18, 1953. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his second wife, Pearl Campbell Quick; one daughter, Mrs. Guy Towler, Afton; one son, Jacob G. Quick, Rt. 1, Waynesboro; one brother, Hawthorne Quick, Beech Grove; one sister, Mrs. Mary lowe, Afton; also five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at eleven a.m. in the Beech Grove Christian Church, conducted by the Rev. J. D. Farries, assisted by the Rev. Elwood Campbell, with burial in the church cemetery.
