He was born on March 31, 1945 in Manchester, TN to his parents, the late Vernon Winton and Juanita Anderson Winton. He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly D. Winton-Lyall and her husband Daniel of Tullahoma, TN; sister, Faye Simmons and her husband J.D. of Manchester,TN and "special sister" Carolyn Hollingsworth of Manchester; two grandchildren, Megan Rian Maxey and Nathan Grant Lyall of Tullahoma, TN; nephew, Jeff Simmons of Manchester, TN; and a host of friends. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 30, 2012 from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Central Funeral Home in Manchester. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Sunday afternoon, July 1, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Central Funeral Home with Brothers Chris Boyce and Benny Benjamin officiating.
