According to both his obituary and his probate file he died August 12 not August 13 as inscribed on his gravestone. His probate file also states he was survived by his wife Barbara and four children: Joseph Ourada of Dawson, Nebr., Anna Herout of Verdigris, Nebr., and Mary Frohner and Josie Varna, both of Rescue, Nebr.
