Description	:	Jane A. Bennett 81, of Kokomo went to be with the Lord at 11:45 pm on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on July 5, 1933 in Kokomo to Elmer and Zelma (Heinemann) Ballard. Jane was married to Ted Bennett who preceded her in death. Jane was a 1951 Kokomo High School graduate and was the office manager for Dr. Ricci in Kokomo for 31 years until she retired. Bennett 81, of Kokomo went to be with the Lord at 11:45 pm on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on July 5, 1933 in Kokomo to Elmer and Zelma (Heinemann) Ballard. Jane was married to Ted Bennett who preceded her in death. Jane was a 1951 Kokomo High School graduate and was the office manager for Dr. Ricci in Kokomo for 31 years until she retired. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church and was a youth sponsor at the church. Jane loved decorating the church and was a part of the Fellowship Table serving funeral dinners. Survivors include three daughters Debbie Bennett of Kokomo, Lou Ann (Rick) Weed of Kokomo, Cyndy (Dan) Sorensen of Sharpsville; five grandchildren Heather (Jason) Harbaugh, Kelly (Ray) Butler, Nick Weed, Chris Schindel, Shane Sorenson; great grandchildren Emma and Max Harbaugh, and her beloved dog Rudy. Preceded in death by her parents, former husband, two brothers Herb and Jerry Ballard; and one sister Margaret Ballard. Funeral services will be at 11 am on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Bible Baptist Church 2635 S. Dixon Rd. Kokomo with Pastor Keith Treadway officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 pm on Monday at Stout & Son Funeral Home 200 E. Main St. Russiaville and there will be an hour of calling on Tuesday from 10 to 11 am at the church. Memorial donations may be given to Bible Baptist Church. Online condolences may be left at www.stoutandson.com. Stout & Son Funeral Home is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
