Description	:	Jane Tecca, 60, of Burlington died at 8:55 p.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2009, at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington. Born October 7, 1949, in Mount Pleasant, she was the daughter of John and Doris Eicher Roth. On August 17, 1991, she married Ron Tecca in Mount Pleasant. Mrs. Tecca worked in a factory, cleaned homes, was a waitress and also worked at St. Francis Hospital. She was a 1967 graduate of WACO High School. She was a member of the Ladies of the Moose. Read More	Jane Tecca, 60, of Burlington died at 8:55 p.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2009, at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington. Born October 7, 1949, in Mount Pleasant, she was the daughter of John and Doris Eicher Roth. On August 17, 1991, she married Ron Tecca in Mount Pleasant. Mrs. Tecca worked in a factory, cleaned homes, was a waitress and also worked at St. Francis Hospital. She was a 1967 graduate of WACO High School. She was a member of the Ladies of the Moose. She enjoyed the simple things in life, and she loved her pets. Survivors include her husband; one son, Lamont Sutter of Salem; one daughter, Christina Matthews of Salem; four grandchildren; her mother of Mount Pleasant; two brothers, Paul Roth of Wayland and Marlin Roth of rural Mount Pleasant; two stepsons, Todd Tecca of Helena, Montana, and Chad Tecca of Solon, North Dakota; one stepdaughter, Jodi Tecca of Helena; seven step-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother. According to Mrs. Tecca's wishes, her body has been cremated. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday in Lunning Chapel, where family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m.. Burial will be at a later date in Sugar Creek Mennonite Cemetery, rural Mount Pleasant. A memorial has been established for Des Moines County Humane Society.
