Description	:	Jane Elizabeth (Bolton) Prater, age 64, of Iberia, formerly of Versailles, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015, at her home. She was born June 13, 1950, in Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter of the late Roy and Helen (Hulett) Bolton. On April 17, 2013, she was united in marriage to her surviving husband, Ronnie Prater. Jane was a hair stylist in Versailles for over fifty years and owned and operated Stage 1 Hairstyling for many years. Read More	Jane Elizabeth (Bolton) Prater, age 64, of Iberia, formerly of Versailles, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015, at her home. She was born June 13, 1950, in Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter of the late Roy and Helen (Hulett) Bolton. On April 17, 2013, she was united in marriage to her surviving husband, Ronnie Prater. Jane was a hair stylist in Versailles for over fifty years and owned and operated Stage 1 Hairstyling for many years. She served as chairperson for the Versailles Chamber of Commerce Apple Festival for several years. She also served the City of Versailles as North Ward Alderperson for ten years and co-chaired the Morgan County Relay for Life for a few years. Jane loved her community and took pride in her involvement. She was a member of the Versailles First Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, Ronnie, she is survived by seven siblings. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Thursday, March 26th, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles with Dr. Todd Forman officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow in the Versailles Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon, Thursday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
