Description	:	Mrs. Albert Kies, Nee Jane Freese the daughter of John & Eka Freese was born in Hardin Co. on Spetember 10, 1900. On Dec. 11, 1929 she was united in marriage with Albert Kies, togeather they lived on farms in Hardin Co, First near Ackley, and in 1940 moved to their farm in the vicinty of Stemboat Rock. In 1924 joined the East Friesland Presbyterian Church at Ackley and was also a faithful member of the Missionary Guild. Mrs Kies was called to her eternal reward very unexpeectedly early Saturday morning. August 5, 1950. She attained the age of 49 years... She leaves to mourn her departure her deeply beraved husband, Albert Kies, one brother, Christian Freese of Ackley, one - half sister, Mrs Joe Boyenga of Ackley, two - half Brothers, Paul and Ubbe Heetland both of Ackley, besides many other relatives and friends Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon , august 8th at 1:30 at the home three miles north and one half miles east of Steamboat Rock and later at the East Friesland Presbyterian Church.
