She married Walter Templeton ca. 1850 and had two known children: Martha J. Templeton and Thomas Clyde Templeton. Thomas Clyde Templeton is the father of the grandson mentioned in the obit. On May 10, 1897 she remarried John Thomas Hardin/Harding. ~~~~~ From a 1911 Nance County, Nebraska, newspaper clipping file, transcribed by Linda Berney: Mrs. Jane Hardin (sic) died at the home of her grandson, Clyde Templeton, at O'Neill on March 16th. Mrs. Hardin has been ill most of the winter, suffering from cancer of the nose and was unconscious most of the time for the last two weeks. The remains were taken to Nevada, Iowa, for burial. Mrs. Hardin lived several years in Fullerton and has many friends to mourn her loss. ~~~~~ Clyde Templeton of O'Neill, Nebr., was in Fullerton a few hours Saturday, being on his way home from Nevada, Iowa, where he accompanied the remains of his grandmother, Mrs. Jane Harding, for burial. Mrs. Harding passed away a week ago last Thursday in the 84th year of her age. She was a good Christian woman and had many friends in Fullerton who will be sorry to learn of her demise. ~~~~ Jane Harding was found in Fullerton in the 1910 census, born ca 1826 in Pennsylvania.
