On Dec. 27, 1941, she married John "Elmer" Kueser. He died Feb. 27, 1965. On April 23, 1971, she married Woodrow Geffert in Chanute, Kansas. He died July 25, 1985. On Dec. 27, 1941, she married John "Elmer" Kueser. He died Feb. 27, 1965. On April 23, 1971, she married Woodrow Geffert in Chanute, Kansas. He died July 25, 1985. She was a homemaker and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, and canning her garden produce. Survivors include a daughter, Sherry J. Anderson, Humboldt, KS; a sister, Bea Cunningham, Chanute, KS; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at Memorial Park Cemetery, led by Pat Crowl. Memorials to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, or the Alley Cat Allies may be left with the funeral home.
