Interment will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery at Holdrege. Janeal Rae Schroder, 53 years of age, of Holdrege, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at the Phelps Memorial Health Center in Holdrege. Janeal was born on July 26, 1961 in Holdrege, the youngest of four children born to Roger DeWayne and Dorothy Arlene (Nelson) Johnson. Janeal was confirmed at Trinity Evangelical Free Church in Holdrege. She attended Holdrege Public Schools and later graduated from Nebraska Christian High School in Central City, Nebraska, with the class of 1980. On April 18, 1998, Janeal was united in marriage to Kevin Schroder at the North Park Assembly of God Church in Holdrege. The couple made their home in Holdrege. Janeal worked at Mosaic as a caregiver and treasured the many friendships made throughout the years. She also enjoyed her time at Trinity Church Daycare. Janeal enjoyed scrapbooking, collecting teddy bears and going to garage sales. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and connecting with friends and family on Facebook. She was a member of the Riverdale Christian Church in Riverdale, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her father, Roger D. Johnson in 2008; niece, Martika Johnson in 2011, father-in-law, Dewitt “Dewey” Schroder in 2003 and brother-in-law, Kent Schroder in 1987. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Kevin Schroder of Holdrege; mother, Dorothy Johnson of Holdrege; brother, Jeff Johnson and his wife, Pamela of Holdrege; sisters: Janice Hamilton and her husband, Tim of Albion, Nebraska and Joan Perkins of Lincoln, Nebraska; mother-in-law, Vearl Schroder of Holdrege, brother-in-law, Mike Schroder of Holdrege; sister-in-law, Marian Brown of Grand Island, Nebraska; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege is in charge of the arrangements.
