Description	:	Janet Elaine Flodman, 80, of Central City, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Litzenberg Long Term Care in Central City. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 16th at 10:00 a.m. at Fridhem Lutheran Church in Hordville with Pastor Jan Anderson and George Matthews officiating. Interment will be held at the Hordville Cemetery. Janet was born on November 6, 1940 in Central City, the daughter of Ralph and Hilda Flodman. Interment will be held at the Hordville Cemetery. Janet was born on November 6, 1940 in Central City, the daughter of Ralph and Hilda Flodman. She grew up on the family farm near Hordville and graduated from Hordville High School in 1959. Following high school, she attended Joseph's College of Cosmetology. After her graduation, she was a beautician for over 40 years. She owned several salons in several states. She owned one in Grand Island, and lost it in the 1980 tornadoes. She married Richard Galusha and they made their home in Central City. They were later divorced. She lived in several states over her lifetime. After her retirement, she moved back to Central City helping out at the Senior Center and the Day Care Center. Janet always enjoyed the outdoors and gardening with her flowers. She especially cherished the time she spent with her family and grandchildren, and special dog Banjo and kitty Elvis. She is survived by her daughter; Patty (Mike) Dobesh of Wood River, son; Richard Galusha of Grand Island, many grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, sisters; Mary Lou (Lyle) Djernes of Central City, Ida Mae Rutherford of Central City, brother; Elton (Connie) Flodman of Hordville, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; Ralph and Hilda Flodman, grandparents; Axel and Augusta Flodman and Thur and Ida Ortegren.
