Janet was Confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Craig, Iowa. She has remained a lifelong member of the Lutheran Faith since birth. Janet attended school in Le Mars, Iowa, graduating in 1968. She later graduated from Beauty School that same year. She married Garry Rachuy in 1968, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Le Mars. She enjoyed listening to Elvis, collecting Mickey Mouse and Barbies as well as decorating for Christmas. She is survived by her husband, Garry Rachuy; a son Scott Rachuy; three grandchildren: Jonathan, Ethan and Faith; a former daughter-in-law, Patricia Rachuy; a sister and her husband, Janyce and Dick Schietzelt all of Le Mars, IA; numerous nieces and nephews, and three special friends, Pat Staabe, Janette Coover and Jill Collins. Janet was preceded in death by her parents; a special grandfather, Henry Cramer; an infant sister, Joan; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jean and Bill Rachuy.
