Description	:	Janet Hoy, 82, died on Oct. 25, 2013. Janey Hoy was born on Oct 27, 1930, to Harry and Blanche (Babbitt) Hoy in Spink County. She graduated from Huron High School in 1948. In October of 1954 she accepted a position with the government in Paris, France. From there, she transferred in 1957 to Tokyo, Japan and in 1961 moved to Seoul, South Korea. She was a member of the First Congregational Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Royal Asiatic Society, and National Association of Retired Federal Employees. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Hubert and Oakley. She is survived by two nephews, Steven and Douglas; and one niece, Mary Jo Moseley; four great-nephews and one great-niece. She also leaves behind many friends throughout the United States and South Korea. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, at Riverside Cemetery in Huron.
