Janet was born April 1, 1942 in Polson to George Roy and Ruby Morigeau. She attended school in Polson. Janet married Edward Sturm in Polson. They had a child together. Edward Sturm, Jr., who died at the age of 22 months. They later divorced. She married Robert Brickzin and they had two children together, Kenneth and Denis. The couple later divorced. Read More	BARCE, Janet Marie Janet Marie Barce, 55, of Ronan, died at her home Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1997 after a lengthy illness. Janet was born April 1, 1942 in Polson to George Roy and Ruby Morigeau. She attended school in Polson. Janet married Edward Sturm in Polson. They had a child together. Edward Sturm, Jr., who died at the age of 22 months. They later divorced. She married Robert Brickzin and they had two children together, Kenneth and Denis. The couple later divorced. Janet married the true love of her life, George Barce, May 27, 1983 in Thompson Falls. George brought two boys, Brett and Robert into the family. Janet was the Director for Social and Rehabilitation Services for Sanders County in Thompson Falls until 1984. She later worked as an administrator for the Bureau of Indian Affairs & Tribal Health. Jane was a member of the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribe, Whitefish Credit Union Board and YMCA Board. She also participated in a Thompson Falls Snowmobile club. She had won numerous powder puff trophies for drag racing in Seattle. She loved horses, dogs, playing horseshoes and the outdoors-especially camping and fishing. Life was a contest for Janet, as she challenged everything. She was preceded in death by her son, Eddie, her parents, and nieces Janet Marie Funke. She is survived by her husband George of Ronan; four sons, Kenneth Brickzin of Dillon; Denis Brickzin of Phoenix, Ariz.; Robert Barce and his wife Angel, of Garrison, Mont.; Brett Barce of Kalispell; two grandchildren, Austin and Anthony Barce of Garrison, Mont.; two sisters, Pat and her husband Tom Funke of Polson, and Helen Lawrence of Kalispell; one brother, George Marigeau of Blue Bay, Mont.; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. The Rosary was said Friday, Dec. 19, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Polson. Mass of the Resurrection followed Saturday, Dec. 20 at the church, with Rev. Gary Reller officiating. Burial was at Lake View Cemetery, Polson. Memorials are suggested to St. Luke's Hospice, Mission Valley YMCA or to the donor's choice. Arrangements were by Grogan Funeral Home of Polson.
