Description	:	Janette was born June 15, 1934 at her parent’s home in rural Alta, the daughter of Edward and Nley (Howe) Ploeger. She lived there until her parents moved to another farm place around the corner. In her youth, she was baptized on August 11, 1934 and confirmed on May 26, 1947 at the Evangelical Reformed Church in rural Schaller, Iowa. On August 23, 1952, Janette was united in marriage to Ronald H. Willer of Battle Creek at Frieden’s Immanuel Reformed Church of Christ in Schleswig. Together they were blessed with four children, Deborah, Shari, Patti and Randy.... She lived there until her parents moved to another farm place around the corner. In her youth, she was baptized on August 11, 1934 and confirmed on May 26, 1947 at the Evangelical Reformed Church in rural Schaller, Iowa. On August 23, 1952, Janette was united in marriage to Ronald H. Willer of Battle Creek at Frieden’s Immanuel Reformed Church of Christ in Schleswig. Together they were blessed with four children, Deborah, Shari, Patti and Randy. They were happily married for 65 years. Janette started school in a one room school until eighth grade and later attended Hayes Consolidated School . In her last year, Janette’s parents moved to Schaller and she graduated from Schaller High School in 1951. Janette was a member of the United Church of Christ, rural Schaller; later a member of Lakeside Presbyterian Church of Storm Lake, where she was a deacon for nine years and a member of the quilting group and most recently, a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Schaller. Janette worked at Frankens Food Market and Schaller Telephone Company in her early married years. Later, she babysat in her home. She also worked for the Schaller Popcorn Company and with the Schaller School Lunch program. Janette worked for the Sac County Public Health Nursing for 22 years. In her spare time, Janette enjoyed cooking, baking, fishing, camping, collecting angels and sending greeting cards. Mom enjoyed gardening and working with flowers outside. As Janette’s children and grandchildren were growing up, she never missed any of their activities and then went on to attend the activities of her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed her coffee parties with her dear friends. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. Those left to cherish her memory include children: Deborah (Mark) Langner of Early, Iowa; Shari Willer O’Bannon of Storm Lake, Iowa; Patti Snyder (special friend, Mick Wise) of Peterson, Iowa; Randy (Iryna) Willer of Fort Collins, Colorado; brothers, Melvin (Dorothy) Ploeger of Ida Grove, Duane (Karen) Ploeger of Storm Lake, and Warren (Nancy) Ploeger of Schaller; sister, Donna (Darold) Lindstrom of Ida Grove; grandchildren: Brian (Stephanie) Langner of Farragut, Iowa; Douglas O’Bannon of Storm Lake, Iowa; Steven O’Bannon of Sioux Rapids, Iowa; Allison (Doug) White of Storm Lake, Iowa; Kayla (Kevin) Wells of Fonda, Iowa; Matthew (Rachel) Snyder of Montgomery, Minnesota; Kylee, Koree, Kellee, and Agneshka Willer of Fort Collins, Colorado; great grandchildren: Luke Alan and Zane Henry Langner; Chloe O’Bannon; Brock, McKinley and Brennan White; Graisyn, Cailyn, and Raigyn Wells; Brinley and Addilyn Snyder; brother-in-law, Donald Burhop; sister-in-law, Darlene Wells; nieces and nephews and many friends. Janette was preceded in death by her husband; parents, Edward and Nley Ploeger; parents-in-law, Henry and LaVerne Willer; step mother-in-law, Marie Willer; brother, Robert Ploeger; sister, Virginia Burhop.
