Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Hoven, with Father Lance Oser, celebrant. Burial follows at the Church Cemetery. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Hoven, with Father Lance Oser, celebrant. Burial follows at the Church Cemetery. Organist will be Alice Simon and St. Anthony's Church Choir will sing. Lector will be Sheila Von Wald. Eucharistic Minister will be Viola Rausch and Mass Servers will be Isaac Kaiser, Connor Kaup, and Peter Rausch. Offertory gift bearers will be Regina Hericks, Anna Marie Roesler, and Walter Rausch. There will be a Wake Service at the Church at 5:00 PM Monday with visitation beginning at 4:00 PM. Janice Jungwirth, daughter of Leila (Eidsness) and Bernard Jungwirth, was born May 16, 1937 at Redfield. Janice grew up in Zell and graduated from Mount Marty High School in Yankton. She then attended Business College where she received her degree as a legal secretary. Janice married Paul Hericks on Oct. 1, 1956 in Zell. They resided on a farm near Hoven and Janice was employed at Von Wald Law Office in Hoven. Paul died May 27, 1991. Janice continued living in Hoven and working with Von Wald's until she was married to Bob Clement in March of 2000. She then retired from the Law Office after 25 years of service and joined Bob in La Crosse. Janice loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed spending the winters in Florida where she could get out and enjoy life. Janice lived life to the fullest. She was a very caring person and a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be truly missed by all. Janice is survived by her husband, Bob, her mother, Leila of Redfield, and her five children; Lori (Paul) Schuh of Hillsboro, ND, Bill (Marcy) Hericks of Wenatchee, WA, Dave (Jeanne) Hericks of Manassas, VA, Sue (Perry) Boniek of Ellendale, ND, and Kevin (Rachelle) Hericks of Watertown; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Also surviving her are four stepchildren; Ruth (Steve) Dunn, Jim Clement, Mary (Randy) Mickelson, Tom (Tatiana) Clement, 8 step-grandchildren, and sisters-in-law; Ida Hericks of Watertown, Shirley Jungwirth of Zell, and Rita Sebert of Aberdeen. Janice is preceded in death by her first husband, Paul, her father, Bernard, and brother, Terry. Casketbearers will be Andy Clement of Holman, WI, Daniel Hericks of Wenatchee, Mason Hericks of Watertown, Heather Schuh of Hillsboro, Kylie Hericks of Manassas, April Boniek of Ellendale, Paul Finn of West Fargo, ND, and Jim Clement of La Crosse. Honorary bearers will be all of Janice's Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, and Step-Grandchildren. The family prefers memorials to St. Anthony's Catholic Church, PO Box 98, Hoven, SD 57450.
