Description	:	"Janice Marie (Kruse) Mussack was born April 11, 1926 to Alvin and Clara (Berg) Kruse on the family farm near Royal, Iowa. She passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Burgess Health Center in Onawa, Iowa, at the age of 90 years. Janice attended country school for eight years and high school at Royal for three years; she graduated from high school in Peterson, Iowa. She received her teaching certificate after completing two years at Dana College in Blair, Nebraska prior to teaching first grade in Tekamah, Nebraska for two years. The first five years of their marriage included several relocations while Art performed construction work. They spent 15 years in Iowa before creating a home on the present farm, located one mile from Decatur, Nebraska. Janice was a member of United Methodist Church in Decatur. She was also an active member of the United Methodist Women. She loved to write letters and to read. She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, Jerry Campbell. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Arthur; her children, Larry (Kathy) Mussack, Carol Campbell, John (Nina) Mussack, Peggy (Keith) Smith, Dennis (Kathy) Mussack; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Ann (John) Munson of Elkton, MN, brother, Roger (Betty) Kruse of Peterson, IA; many nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Dale Mussack and Melvin Wildman."
