Besides her mother, Mrs. Jessie Hunsaker, she leaves her husband, Wilford Shoemaker, and two small children, a daughter, Susie, age 14 months and a son, Phillip Lee, age 4; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Mae Van Houten, of California, and Mrs. Opal Crosby, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and one brother, Charley Hunsaker, of California. She was a member of the Clarence Christian Church. The body remained at the Barkelew and Hawkins Funeral Home until time for the services.
