Mrs. Bailey came to Aberdeen 15 years ago from Seattle and made her home at 917 1/2 N. N St. A native of Winton, Minn., Mrs. Bailey spent her early life in Austin, Minn. Both she and her husband, the late Dr. Theodore G. Bailey, were graduates of the Palmer School of Chiropractic at Davenport, Ia. They came west to Seattle in 1905 and opened an office for the practice of chiropractic, operating it for many years. They were long-time residents of the Latona Avenue district near the University of Washington. Mrs. Bailey was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Pythian Sisters. She had been active in the PTA and in the Baptist Church in Seattle. After coming to Aberdeen she joined the First Baptist Church here. Surviving are a son, Glenn M. Bailey Sr., Aberdeen; a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Hicks, La Habra, Calif.; grandchildren, Glenn M. Bailey Jr., Aberdeen; Robert Hicks, La Habra, Calif., and Mrs. Barbara Erickson, Placentia, Calif., and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 o'clock Friday morning from the Elerding chapel with Rev. Arthur Smith officiating. The committal services will be at 3:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the family plot in Washelli Cemetery. Committal services will be at 3:30 o'clock Friday afternoon in Washelli Cemetery, Seattle, with Rev. Cyrus Albertson, D.D., officiating.
