Description	:	Jason James Rolen, 24, a lifetime resident of the Dryden area, drowned Sunday afternoon, September 21, 2003, at China Falls, near Ronald, Washington. He was born on September 25, 1978 to Ron R. and Angela (Ware) Rolen at Wenatchee. The family live in Dryden, where he attended Elementary school in Peshastin and graduated from Cascade High School in Leavenworth in 1997. Jason then attended Bellingham Technical School for two years before his employment at Dorsey Electric for 3 years as an Electrician. He was born on September 25, 1978 to Ron R. and Angela (Ware) Rolen at Wenatchee. Jason is remembered for "All the seasons to come" where he enjoyed the outdoors -- camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, snowshoeing or motor biking. Jason always surrounded himself with wonderful friends and family. Jason is survived by his mother, Angela Rolen of Dryden and his father, Ron R. Rolen and Donna Rolen of East Wenatchee. one sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer C. and Derrick Kelso of Wenatchee. Two nieces, Whitney and Jordan Kelso of Wenatchee. His paternal grandparents, Otto and Letha Rolen of Wenatchee and his maternal grandmother, Ruth Ware of Wenatchee. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Orven "Bud" Ware. Jason's motto was "Live life to the fullest" and "Don't sweat the small stuff." Jason will always be remembered and have a special place in our hearts. A graveside service of commemoration to celebrate the life of Jason James Rolen will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning, September 27, 2003 at the gravesite in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, 1301 10th St. NE, East Wenatchee, WA 98802. Those wishing to make visitation may call at Ward's Funeral Chapel Thursday and Friday between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Ward's Funeral Chapel, Leavenworth, is in charge of the arrangements.
