Description	:	Jean Ann Sieh was born September 13, 1955, at Burke, SD the daughter of L.H. "Hank" Kerner and Gladys Helmberger Kerner. The family lived on a farm southeast of Carlock. The family moved to a farm two miles northwest of Carlock in 1956, where Jean grew up and attended Jeppson District #50 through the seventh grade. She then attended school in Gregory and graduated from Gregory High School in 1973. After high school she worked at Schoenfelder Chevrolet as a bookkeeper. Read More	Jean Ann Sieh was born September 13, 1955, at Burke, SD the daughter of L.H. "Hank" Kerner and Gladys Helmberger Kerner. The family lived on a farm southeast of Carlock. The family moved to a farm two miles northwest of Carlock in 1956, where Jean grew up and attended Jeppson District #50 through the seventh grade. She then attended school in Gregory and graduated from Gregory High School in 1973. After high school she worked at Schoenfelder Chevrolet as a bookkeeper. She then returned to the family farm where she worked for several years. On March 7, 1992 she married Garlyn Sieh at St. John Lutheran Church in Gregory. They made their home on a farm eleven miles south of Dallas. To this union one daughter was born, Sarah Jean. The family then moved to Gregory in 2003. Jean was a wonderful caring person who attended all the special events in her nieces and nephews lives and when Sarah came along she never missed any of her activities. She was always there for Sarah. Jean was a member of St. John Lutheran Church where she was baptized on December 2, 1996. She was a diligent worker and held various jobs through the years including Midwest Apiaries, milking cows for Boyt and Theresa Young, Louie's Grocery, Buches, and Avera Gregory Hospital. Jean loved reading books, doing puzzles, and playing cards with family. She was always willing to do anything for members of her family. She passed away on November 29, 2013 as the result of an automobile accident. She is survived by her husband Garlyn of Gregory, daughter Sarah of Gregory, her father Hank Kerner of Gregory, her sister Joan (Steve) Wonnenberg of Dallas, her brother Leon (Lisa) Kerner of Gregory, her mother-in-law Darlene Sieh of Wayne, NE, and her sister-in-law Lynette (Dick) Carmichael of Wayne, NE. Also surviving are nephews and nieces: Hank (Melissa) Wonnenberg, Elizabeth and Lydia; Casey (David) King, Andy (Aliza) Wonnenberg, Carly Wonnenberg, Nick Emon, Cody Emon, Ktrina Will, Cassity and Jaslee Kerner, Marla Carmichael, Kirk (Kristi) Carmichael, Brynn, Kyler, and Brille, Wade (Joy) Carmichael and Griffin, and a host of relatives and friends.
