She was born on July 11, 1916 in Hedrick, Iowa the daughter of George E. and Marvel F.(Morgan)Glascock. She graduated from Cincinnati High School where she played on the Girls Basketball Team. On July 27, 1937, Jean was united in marriage to Raymond Sebben in Lancaster, Missouri. Together, they ran Raymond's Dairy Creme in Centerville, Iowa for over 30 years. She was born on July 11, 1916 in Hedrick, Iowa the daughter of George E. and Marvel F.(Morgan)Glascock. She graduated from Cincinnati High School where she played on the Girls Basketball Team. On July 27, 1937, Jean was united in marriage to Raymond Sebben in Lancaster, Missouri. Together, they ran Raymond's Dairy Creme in Centerville, Iowa for over 30 years. She also was proud of her cooking and her flower and vegetable gardens. She also loved birds and was a person of action. She so enjoyed being around children and was especially proud of her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; and brothers, Paul Glascock, Otis Glascock, Raymond"Barney"Glascock, Tommie Glascock, Richard"Dick"Glascock and 1 in infancy. Jean is survived by: her daughter, Gay Lawrence and her husband, Tony of Edina, Minnesota, grandsons, John Lawrence and Thomas Lawrence; and a brother, George Glascock of Centerville, Iowa. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Saturday March 9. 2013 at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Rev. Carl and Sharon Heien officiating. Bural to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Cincinnati, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 from 1-8 pm with the family present from 6-8 pm. at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to either the Pleasant Hill Cemetery or to Centerville Nursing & Rehab's Activity fund.
