Mrs. Mims was born November 29, 1934, in Kershaw County she was the daughter of the late Willie Fletcher and Rosa Roberts Holley. She retired from Westinghouse after dedicating 35 years as a customer service representative. She enjoyed reading, cross stitching and flowers. Mrs. Mims was born November 29, 1934, in Kershaw County she was the daughter of the late Willie Fletcher and Rosa Roberts Holley. She retired from Westinghouse after dedicating 35 years as a customer service representative. She enjoyed reading, cross stitching and flowers. Mrs. Mims was an active member of the Clyo United Methodist Church and loved her Lord and family very much. She was survived by a daughter, Sylvia M. McCarthy and her husband C.J. of Charleston; three grandchildren, Gary Wayne Mims and wife Samantha of Charleston, Kathrine Marie Wells and husband Josh of Indiana, and Shelley Allan Mims of Alabama; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Donald Eugene Mims Jr. and four brothers. Funeral services were Thursday, May 8, 2014, in Clyo United Methodist Church in Georgia. The Rev. Don Clark officiated. Burial, directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, followed in the Mims-Yarley family cemetery in Garnett, SC.
