Born May 15, 1921 in Camden, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Jacob & Mary Etta (Jasbring) Zieglar. She was united in marriage to Arthur Brown, and he preceded her in death in 1968. Jean was a member of the Worldwide Church of God. In her leisure time she enjoyed Crocheting and Embroidery, and also liked gardening. Blessing of Brookville, Indiana, Linda (Mike) Chaney of Lawrenceburg, Indiana and Wesley (Robin) Brown of Hamilton, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, as well as 22 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, and husband Arthur, she was preceded in death by a sister Doris Weiss and a brother, Calvin Zieglar. Family & friends may visit from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville, IN. James O’Brien will officiate the Funeral Services at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home in Brookville. Burial will follow in Somerville Cemetery in Somerville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Works of Mercy Center in Brookville.
