Description	:	Jean Margaret Haas, 79, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, formerly of Le Mars, Iowa, died Saturday, July 14, 2007, at the Golden Living Care Center at Scottsbluff. Her funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 18, at the First United Methodist Church at Scottsbluff, with the Reverend Nancy Tomlinson officiating. A graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, July 20, at Memorial Cemetery in Le Mars. Jean was born May 9, 1928, at Le Mars, the daughter of Clarence and Edith (Walker) Langendorfer. She graduated from Le Mars High School with the class of 1946. She then worked for Bell Telephone Co. for 4 years. Jean was united in marriage to Donald F. Haas, December 16, 1950, at Le Mars. While Don was in the US Army completing his tour of duty, they lived in California. After his discharge, they moved back to Le Mars, where Don began work in the telephone construction business. They then moved near Dodge City, KS, then to Florence, KS, to Noblesville, IN, to Freeport, IL, and in 1959 back to Le Mars. In 1960 they moved to Scottsbluff and have resided there since that time. Jean worked after their sons graduated from high school as a legal secretary for the Boy Scouts and the Nebraska Panhandle Station. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Don; sons, Jim and his wife Toni of Artesia, NM, and Steven of Escondido, CA; six grandchildren, Preston Greenwaldt and his wife Kristin, Lauren Moses and her husband Moses, and Mary Ellen Greenwaldt, all of Texas, and Drew, Hayden, and Zane Haas of Artesia, NM; and sister-in-law and her husband, Lorene and Albert Fisher of Frazee, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents.
