Ferris, 77, Cascade, died Sunday morning in a local hospital. She had been in failing health for the past year. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the O'Connor Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. James Hinch, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Manchester. She was born at Albert Lea, Minn. She came to Montana at an early age. The family homesteaded near Gildford and she attended Gildford Grade school and graduated from Billings High School. She worked as a clerk for the Great Northern Railway at Havre. She later worked for Western Union. She married Clifford (Buz) Ferris in 1929 at Chinook. They lived in Havre where he worked as an electrician. In 1941 they came to Great Falls where he worked for Cascade Electric. After his retirement in 1967 they moved to the Wellington Tract south of Cascade. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Della Kelly, Great Falls; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Kickbusch, Santa Maria, Calif.; and two brothers, Howard Wallum, Havre, and Cifford Wallum, Sacramento, Calif.
