Description	:	Jeanette Mary Niemann, age 80, of Clear Lake, SD passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 22, 2018. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the Hamlin Reformed Church, rural Castlewood, SD. Burial will be in the Hamlin Reformed Cemetery, rural Castlewood. Visitation will be 5 – 7 p.m. Monday, March 26th at the Houseman Funeral Home, Clear Lake, SD and will resume Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church. Read More	Jeanette Mary Niemann, age 80, of Clear Lake, SD passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 22, 2018. Jeanette Mary Adolph was born on November 2, 1937 on a farm north of Clear Lake, SD. She was the daughter of Clarence and Jessie (Hanson) Adolph. She attended rural school of Lone Tree Lake 32. Jeanette worked with her dad on the farm until she was 17 years old, then she worked in Watertown. Jeanette was united in marriage to Jurgen Niemann on October 18, 1957 in rural Castlewood. They farmed west of Clear Lake for 57 years. Jeanette was baptized in the Reformed Church of Castlewood where she was a member and belonged to the RCFW for many years. She also taught Sunday school for several years. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also loved to read, work crossword puzzles, playing cards, helping on the farm when she was able and going to Revillo for Pie Day. Jeanette is survived by her daughter, JoAnn (Kenny) Ries; son, Jerry (Shawn Riley) Niemann, both of Clear Lake, SD; grandchildren: Amanda (Bruce Daughters) Lindner, Jessica (Chris) McCollough, Josh Anderson, Chad (Angela) Ries, Paul (Mary) Ries, Melissa (Scott Kloss) Stahn and Morgan Niemann; 11 great-grandchildren: Alex, Peyton, James, Alivia, Joseph, Brock, Alexis, Gracelynn, Jordan, Aiden and Harper; son-in-law, Jim Anderson, Toronto, SD; sister, Bernice Harms, Sioux Falls, SD; sister-in-law, Barb (Virgil) Van Strom; brothers and sisters-in-law: Henrietta (Andy) Molengraaf, Judy Harbolt, Henry (Judi) Niemann and Leo (Arla) Niemann; many nieces and nephews; and her dog, Bella. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Geraldine Anderson; her parents; sister, Delores; brothers: Eugene (Darlene) Adolph, Jim Adolph, Melvin (Dolly) Adolph; brother-in-law, Art Harms and George Harbolt; sisters and brothers-in-law: Lena (Henry) Toering, Katheryn (Dale) Taken and Linda Niemann. - Houseman Funeral Home
