Description	:	Jeanette M. Hoffman, of Clinton, Iowa, died Friday, Aug. 13, 2004, at Mercy Medical Center-North Campus, Clinton. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 16, 2004, at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig-Dennis A. Lemke Funeral Homes and Crematory with Rev. Paul Axness officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Following the services the body will be cremated. Jeanette May Nelson was born on May 3, 1920, in Clinton, the daughter of Elmer and Katherine (Christensen) Nelson. She married Loran L. Hoffman, Jr. and Aug. 18, 1946, in Clinton, he died May 30, 1998. She graduted in 1938 from Clinton High School. She was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Navy. She was a homemaker. She also worked with the Sanitary Farm's Dairy and with Sears Roebuck Company. She was a member of Saint Paul Lutheran Church, Clinton Women's Bowling Association, and a member of the AMVETS Auxiliary. She is survived by three sons, Larry Hoffman, of Clinton, Phillip Hoffman, of Clinton, and Loran Hoffman, III, of Clinton; one daughter, Linda Hoffman, of Clinton; four grandchildren, Lacey Waterman, Christopher Hoffman, Gabrielle Hoffman, and Eric Everson; four great-grandchildren, Donovan Lunsford, Megan Hoffman, Zachary Hoffman, and Devon Everson; and one brother Russell (Ardelle) Nelson, of Fulton.
