NELSON Jeanette, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Saville, was born at Eddyville Iowa, July 27, 1897, and died June 11, 1922, at 10:50 PM at Oakdale Iowa, at the age of 24 years, 10 months and 13 days. NELSON Jeanette, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Saville, was born at Eddyville Iowa, July 27, 1897, and died June 11, 1922, at 10:50 PM at Oakdale Iowa, at the age of 24 years, 10 months and 13 days. With exception of three years spent and Havre, Montana, she has always lived in Eddyville and vicinity. On March 8, 1916, she was united in marriage to S.R. Nelson and to this union two children were born Ruth and Maxine. At the age of fourteen years she united with the Baptist church of which she has been a devoted and faithful member. For the past year she had been in poor health. All that was possible for medical skill to do was done, but to no avail. Last March she was taken to Oakdale where for a while she seemed to improve, and it was thought she might again be restored to health but on Friday, June 9, she was again taken worse, from which she never recovered and death came Sunday evening to relieve her of her suffering. Mrs. Nelson was a young woman who loved her home and family, and has many friends who are grieved to hear of her passing away. She leaves to mourn their loss besides her husband and two children, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Saville; two sisters Mrs. Loyal Hawke and Mrs. Christina Saville; two brothers, Ben Saville of Albia and Clyde Saville of Kirksville, Missouri; and a large number of other relatives. Her remains were brought to the home of her parents on Monday evening and the funeral services were held from the Baptist church Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. Searcy of the Oskaloosa Baptist church officiating. Interment was made in Highland cemetery. Fred Saville, Eugene Kirfman, Worth Kirfman, Leo Wilcox, Francis Wilcox, Lloyd Wilcox, Harry Bennett and Robert Wilcox, cousins of the deceased, acted as pallbearers.
