Jedediah was born August 28, 1979 in Fort Carson, CO, the son of David and Marjorie Polanchek. Growing up he began attending school in Fulda, Germany. He traveled throughout the world with his mother and father, who served in the US Army for 23 years. The family moved to Belfield in 1993, where Jed graduated from Belfield High School in 1998. Jed enjoyed camping in the badlands and around the country with his parents. He loved to fish with his grandma, Joyce Polanchek. He was an avid sports fan, with the Dodgers and the Broncos being his favorites. He was also an active member of the Belfield Sportsman Club, St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, and the Belfield KC’s where he was a 4th degree knight. Jed touched so many lives with a childlike innocence, yet a full size heart. His love for the church and God were of great importance to him and he was always willing to share his God with everyone he met. Jed was an incredible fighter, beating the odds by coming through many surgeries with less than a 10% chance. He fought to be there for his family, surviving 14+ heart surgeries. Jedediah loved photography. His favorite pastime was taking hundreds of photos and writing short stories. He will be leaving numerous good friends and family behind. Jedediah is survived by his parents, David and Marjorie Polanchek of Belfield; brother, Albert Polanchek of Belfield, Frank (Sascha) Polanchek of York, PA; nieces and nephews, Amanda, Zachary, Caden, Brent, Joshua; great-niece, Emma Rose; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joyce and Frank Polanchek, Paul and Anna Fritzler.
