Description	:	Although his sister, Harriett, Mrs. James Reed, is the informant on his death certificate; based on other documents, information she has given is found to be incorrect. According to his age at the time he was living, ages 6 in 1850 and 16 in 1860 census years with his parents, along with stating his year born on the 1900 census, the year she stated of 1833 is not right. KEATON married once to Martha Ferran April 1, 1871 in Vigo County, Indiana (Blessed with 14 children/11 lived to 1900 & 1910 census) (note - only 10 children are known to this family member) Child not linked: IDA (FANNY) E. KEATON - She is with her parents in 1900 indicated her birth as May 1886; however her death records indicates her born April 3, 1887 in Terre Haute, Vigo County, Indiana. She is found getting married twice- August 4, 1907 in Indianapolis, Marion County, IN to Richard L. Rock; her death record shows her spouse as Gus Manns; she worked as Beauty Specialist; she last lived in Hammond, IN and died at age 38, March 24, 1925 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. Death record indicated she was to be buried in Terre Haute. Obituary published March 26, 1925 in Terre Haute Tribune, page 02.
