Description	:	The deceased, Jennie Elizabeth Priaulx Smith was born in Maryland October 19,1828. When that a small girl she moved with her parents to Gurnsey, county, Ohio, and there married Peter Priaulx November 27, 1856. To this union was born nine children of whom two died in infancy. Mrs. Prialux united with the Methodist Episcopal church in early life, but since her residence here has not identified herself in fellowship with the church. Read More	The deceased, Jennie Elizabeth Priaulx Smith was born in Maryland October 19,1828. When that a small girl she moved with her parents to Gurnsey, county, Ohio, and there married Peter Priaulx November 27, 1856. To this union was born nine children of whom two died in infancy. Mrs. Prialux united with the Methodist Episcopal church in early life, but since her residence here has not identified herself in fellowship with the church. May 6,1887, her husband's death occurred but in her loneliness she has been comforted by the presence of her children, who have married and settled near the parental home. Friday afternoon, March 6, all knew that the end was near, and after arranging the matters of her life as best she could she bade her children and grandchildren goodbye and peacefully fell asleep, leaving this testimony that it was all bright and that she was ready to go. She leaves to mourn her death six daughters, one son and twenty-seven grandchildren. the daughters and son are Mary E. Whitlateh, Jemima E. Mark, Anna D.S. Cooley, Letitia J. Sutherland, Arvilia J. Smith, Nancy B. Irving, and John N. Priaulx. The funeral service was conducted Sunday, March 8, at the M.E. church by Rev. O.G. Oreutt, the pastor, assisted by Rev's Howrey and Horner, after which interment was made in Indiana cemetery. The family offer their thanks to friends who kindly assisted Unknown Newspaper Obit
