Description	:	Jenise Caroline Kampman, age 58, of Clarksville, Iowa, was born the daughter of Orville and Marvel (Leerhoff) Nordman on May 4, 1956, Clarksville, Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church in Clarksville. Jenise graduated from the Clarksville High School in 1974. She continued her education at Hamilton Business College where she graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Medical Transcription. Read More	Jenise Caroline Kampman, age 58, of Clarksville, Iowa, was born the daughter of Orville and Marvel (Leerhoff) Nordman on May 4, 1956, Clarksville, Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church in Clarksville. Jenise graduated from the Clarksville High School in 1974. She continued her education at Hamilton Business College where she graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Medical Transcription. On December 17, 1975, Jenise was united in marriage with Clayton Kampman at St. John Lutheran Church. The couple made their home in Clarksville. To this union three children were born, Matt, Brandon and Lia whom she loved and nurtured always. Jenise worked for the Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo for nearly 35 years, as a Medical Transcriptionist. She also helped and supported Clayton with his electrical business, Kampman Electric. Jenise was a lifelong and very active member of St. John Lutheran Church, where she faithfully taught Sunday school and was a member of the Altar Guild. In her spare time she loved her horses, country music and going to many dances. She will be remembered for many things especially her cooking for all of their family get-togethers and often for her friends. Through the years she never missed her children’s and grandchildren’s activities and often participated too. She enjoyed traveling with her family on many vacations. Her family took the most important role in her life and her grandchildren were always number one with her. Jenise passed away Friday, January 16, 2015, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa, from natural causes. She was preceded in death by her parents. Jenise is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Clayton Kampman of Clarksville; two sons, Matt (Mandy) Kampman and their children, Kale and Katie of Clarksville, Brandon (Andrea) Kampman and their children, Levi and Paige of Clarksville; one daughter, Lia Kampman of Waverly, Iowa; one brother, Jim (Marilyn) Nordman of Clarksville; and two sisters, Joyce (Chuck) Bochmann of Clarksville, and Janet (Gary) Parson of Clarksville. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at St. John Lutheran Church with burial at Lynwood Cemetery both in Clarksville. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Redman-Schwartz Funeral Home in Clarksville, (319)278-4245 and will continue 1 hour prior to services at the church.
