Description	:	Funeral services for Jennie Juracek, 71, who passed away at the Hill Nursing Home in Niobrara, Tuesday, Jan. 29, were conducted at the ZCBJ Hall in Verdigre, Thursday afternoon. The Rev. Joseph Walsted of Niobrara officiaed. Interment was in the Jelen Cemetery west of Verdigre. Jennie Ann Parez, daughter of Joseph and Ann Parez, was born in the Jelen community, May 1, 1885. Joseph Walsted of Niobrara officiaed. Interment was in the Jelen Cemetery west of Verdigre. Jennie Ann Parez, daughter of Joseph and Ann Parez, was born in the Jelen community, May 1, 1885. It was there, she grew up to be a young lady and later was employed in Creighton for a few years. On April 18, 1906, she was united in marriage with Louis N. Juracek, also the the Jelen community. They spent their first year of marriage near Sparta, then moved to a farm six miles east of Niobrara. She resided there until shortly after the death of her husband, Dec. 29, 1935. The family moved to Verdigre and Center before returning to Niobrara in 1943. The remainder of her life was spent there with her son, Louis until entering the Hill Home. She is survived by her five chidren, Helen (Ed) Wirth and Louis of Niobrara, Emil of North Plate, Edwin of Fort Collins, Colo. and Lillian (Marvin)....remainder of obit is missing. ...The Creighton News 7 Feb 1957 (Thanks goes to Gayle Neuhaus for this obituary!) ************************************************** Missing survivor in the obituary is daughter, Lillian (Juracek) Kotrous (11612164) and her husband Marvin.
