Description	:	Highland Recorder January 23, 1914 Mrs. Jennie Jones, widow of the late Dr. E.J. Jones, died Saturday morning Jan. 17th. at her home in Bridgewater. Va, of tuberculosis. She had been in declining health for a number of years and during the past year had undergone hospital treatment, repeatedly, but all to no avail. She was a most patient sufferer, bright and cheerful to the end. Read More	Highland Recorder January 23, 1914 Mrs. Jennie Jones, widow of the late Dr. E.J. Jones, died Saturday morning Jan. 17th. at her home in Bridgewater. Va, of tuberculosis. She had been in declining health for a number of years and during the past year had undergone hospital treatment, repeatedly, but all to no avail. She was a most patient sufferer, bright and cheerful to the end. She had talked of her approaching death to her children some time before and told them they would not speak of it any more, but would try to be happy and enjoy the time they should be together. She was a lovely christian character, delighting in the work of the church, as long as her health permitted. Her remains were brought here to day and buried by the side of her husband and a little son who preceded her to the grave about six years ago. Funeral services conducted by Rev. F.E. Hammond. She leaves behind a father, mother, four sisters, two brothers and three children, two daughters and a little son. and a host of relatives and friends. Our sympathies go out to the children who are left without father or mother at a time when they so much need the counsel of a father and the loving care and sympathy of a mother. Among those who attended the funeral were Miss Mary Jones, Andrew and William Jones, and several people from Crabbottom also Miss Eleanor Bucher, of Bridgewater, sister of the deceased.
