Description	:	Jennie E. Eller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman T. Johnson, was born at Cherokee, Kansas on April 25, 1881 and died at the hospital in Stratton, Nebraska on April 28, 1962 at the age of 81. She was married to Amos Wood in 1897, and they made their home on a homestead near Stratton. They were the parents of three daughters, all of whom survive. Her marriage to Alden R. Mr. Eller died on December 17, 1958. Mrs. Eller is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Augusta Bennett of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Mrs. Florence Nelson of Grandview, Washington; and Mrs. Mildred Palmer of Stratton; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; one step-son, Kenneth Eller of Hayes Center; and two sisters, Mrs. Maude Johnson and Mrs. May Ritchie, both of Stratton. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, May 1 at the Trenton Church of God, with Rev. F. Glenn Harvey officiating. Singers were Larry Harvey, Jerry Harvey, Roy Hidy, and Cermit Brown. Mrs. Morris Brown served as organist. Burial was made in Rose Hill cemetery at Stratton, under the direction of the Herrmann-Fritsch Funeral Home. The pallbearers were Robert Hidy, Donald Daugherty, Robert League, Morris Brown, Joe Brown, and Robert Nealeigh. Source: The Culbertson Progress, May 10, 1962
