Funeral services were held here Friday at the home of her mother, Mrs. P. Bonnema, and at the Second Christ. Ref. church. Mrs. Katze was born in Sioux Center and grew to womanhood here. She was married 30 years ago to George Katze and the couple farmed in Sioux county for a time, later moving to Estelline, S.D. were the family live at present. She is survived by her husband and eight children, four of whom are married, the other four at home. The children are, Mrs. Gerrit Koolsbeek, Mrs. Frank Koolsbeek, Peter, Jessie, Helen, Gerrit and George, all of Estelline and Mrs. Ben Vonk of Sioux Center. She is also survived by nine brothers and sisters, mainly of this vicinity. They are George Bonnema, Steen, Minn.; Mrs. H. Kleinwolterink, Mrs. John Kruizenga, Sioux Center; Mrs. Donald Duistermars, .Mrs. Gt. Grotenhuis, both of Orange City; Mrs. Neal Van Muyden, Mrs. John Oliver, Sioux Center; Ben Bonnema, Orange City; Dick Bonnema, Sioux Center. The family has the sympathy of a host of friends in this community. Alton Democrat 1932-04-29.
