Survivors are three sons, Everett Whitney of Monteith, Daniel Whitney of Farnhamville and Ralph Whitney of Saltnas, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Sarah McCarty of Magnolia, Mrs. Hazel Johnson of Des Moines, and Mrs. Ethel Crum (sic-Crom) of Pasadena, Calif.; two brothers, Kleber Gates of Maryfield, Minn. and Lester Gates of Albert City; 14 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
