Description	:	Jennie M. Farrer, 83, 515 Court St., died Monday, April 1, 1996, at a Sioux City hospital after being stricken at home. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert J. Schimmer officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 9 p.m. today, with the family after 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. A Scriptural wake service will be 7:45 p.m. at the funeral home. She came to Sioux City in 1927 and attended Sioux City schools. On Dec. 9, 1933, she married James C. Farrer in Elk Point, S. D. He died March 7, 1979, in Sioux City. Mrs. Farrer was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors include a son, James N. Farrer and his wife, Loretta of Sioux City; a brother, Richard Henry of Auburn, Calif.; five sisters, Bernice Pressler of Kingsland, Texas, Louise Wilson of Spirit Lake, Iowa, Helen Barker of Kingsland, Dorothy McKenna of Marble Falls, Texas and Marguerite Swanson of Sioux City; three grandchildren (redacted); and three great-grandchildren.
