She married Bert Leusink Aug. 22, 1907. To this union seven daughters and four sons were born. He died Aug. 16, 1935. Jennie Leusink then married Hendrikus Leusink, June 4, 1943. He died March 10, 1968. A son, Gerrit John preceded her in death on April 17, 1969. A son and daughter also died in infancy. Iowa, Gilbert of Clinton, Wis., stepdaughters: Mrs. Gerrit (Grace) De Jongh of Lakewood, Calif., Mrs. Dan (Dora) Wesselink of Hull, Ia, Mrs. Jake (Henrietta) Van Surksum of Bellflower, Calif., 35 grandchildren, 51 greatgrandchildren and one greatgreat-grandchild. A sister, Mrs. Eva Post of Orange City, Ia., and a brother, Paul Mouw of Winterhaven, Florida also survived her. Mrs. Leusink passed away on February 12 from a stroke at the Orange City Municipal Hospital. Funeral services were held on February 15 at the First Reformed Church at Hull. Rev. D. Ter Beest officiated. Organist was Mrs. Vernon De Jongh. Mrs. ClaverWolfswinkel, Mrs. Kenneth De Groot and Leonard Risseeuw, Jr. sang "He Touched Me." Pallbearers were Bruce Wesselink, Leon Vander Griend, Gary Leusink, John Leusink, Bert van Batavia, and William Leusink. Interment was at Middleburg, Cemetery, Middleburg, Iowa with Kraai Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Sioux County Capital 1971-02-25.
