Description	:	Jennie Myrtle Gill was born near Towanda,Kansas August 8,1899 and passed away in a Wichita hospital August 31,1938,at the age of 39 years and 22 days. She was united in marriage to Clarence Hall in December 1917.To this union were born four children:Mrs.Huber Edson,Melba,Dorothy Lou and Merle Hall,all of whom,with her husband,survive her;also her mother,Mrs.Bessie Gill;one sister,Mrs.Marion Pitcher of Benton;and three brothers,Alva of Benton,Glenn of Hays,KS;and James of Ponca City,OK.She goes to join her father,Lowell Gill,who passed away September 17,a year ago.(1937) She was a member of the Christian Church and a tireless worker in church and community affairs.The last three years... Funeral services were held in the Benton Christian Church,at 10 o'clock Friday morning,with Rev.Benton Hanan,pastor,and Rev.J.E.McCoy,former pastor,officiating.Music was furnished by a quartet:Mr.and Mrs.Sidney Chaney,Mrs.Albert Bodecker and Mrs.Charles Necom,with Miss Inez Whitson at the piano,from the Palmyra Church.Pallbearers were:Amos Edson,Will Schupp,Leonard McCune,Frank Johnson,Harlod Hinnenkamp,and Henry Dohren.Burial was made in the Benton Cemetery. Our sympathies to Mr.Clarence Hall and his family.The passing of Mrs.Hall takes from our church one of its most faithful members.Always ready and willing to help,no matter what the task.Her six years record of perfect Bible School attendance was broken three years ago when her health would not permit her to attend regularly any longer.
