Mrs. Grubbs had been a resident of Hutchinson for the past 10 years, coming here from Burrton where she had made her home for twenty years previous to coming here. Mrs. Grubbs is survived by three sons, Gilles Grubbs and Wilbur Grubbs of Moscow, Kansas and Herbert Grubbs of Burrton, and two daughters, Mrs. A.G. Bachtol of Patterson, Kansas and Mrs. R.B. Frost of Boulder, Colorado. Short services will be held at 10 o'clock and the body taken to Burrton for burial. - Hutchinson News. Mrs. Grubbs was a pioneer of this section and widely known and respected by all residents. Her home for the past ten years had been in Hutchinson. The funeral services were held from the Methodist church here at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday. Rev. D.C. Shields conducted the services and interment was made in the Burrton cemetery.
