Jenny was predeceased by her parents Delmar and Ellen Barr, five sisters: Bertha Cofell, Edith Driver, Anna Davis, Kathleen Townsend and Ella Stockton, and five brothers: Victor, Glen, Delmar, William Eldon and Elvin Dundas Barr. Jenny was born at home in Ardenville in 1910. She received her schooling at Ardenville and Fort Macleod, later going to Normal School in Calgary. She taught in the Howe School for seven years before going to Olson Creek to teach. She boarded with the Schnarr's where she met her husband Pat. In 1939 Jenny and Pat were married and continued to live on the family ranch until they retired to Fort Macleod in 1972. During their retirement they had many enjoyable bus trips to various points. They also enjoyed regular camping trips to the mountains with their friends. Jenny was a gifted seamstress and was always busy with her hands, either sewing, knitting or crocheting. She was a great cook and no one ever left her kitchen hungry. She had a generous heart and was devoted to her family and her door was always open to her friends. Cremation. -------------------------
