Jerald Lynn Parker was born on Dec 19, 1946 in Nebraska, the son of Thomas Lyle and Esther Mae (Woods) Parker. He attended Central City Public school and graduated from Central City High School in 1965. Jerry served two years with the U.S. Army serving in Germany. He married Diane Mekalson on June 14, 1969 in Battle Lake, MN. Parents of two children, Jara Lynn and Heath Alan. They later divorced. He lived in Hiawatha, Marion and Toddville in Iowa, then in Champlin, MN and Brunswick, Maine before returning to Iowa.He was employed in the circuit board industry with Rockwell International in Cedar Rapids., Advance Circuits of Roseville, MN and Maine Electronics in Brunswick, Maine. After returning to Iowa worked as maintenance with a local nursing home. Hi si survived by one daughter, Jara Lynn Parker of MN, one son Heath Alan (Sasha) Parker of MN, four grandchildren, a sister Isla (Dwayne) Powell of Central City, sister-in-law Judy Parker of Central City, a brother-in-law, Terry Tull of Center Point and by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded by his parents, Lyle and Esther, brother, Tom Parker and sister, Sandy Tull.
