Ditch passed away Sunday evening at his home, 406 Sheridan avenue, of typhoid pneumonia, after a week’s illness. Mr. Ditch was born in Indiana, October, 1858. Funeral services over the remains will be held at the residence tomorrow morning at 9:30 o’clock. Elder C.E. Wolf, pastor of the Moore street Brethern church will be in charge. Interment will be made at the Shaul cemetery. Mr. Ditch leaves two daughters, Bernice and Eva; his mother, Mrs. Amanda Ditch of Rutledge; two sisters, Mrs. Cora [sic] Gibson of Rutledge, and Mrs. Cordia Ellis of Mitchell, S.D., and a brother, Smith Ditch of Ottumwa.
